To resolve issues with Hevy workouts not syncing to Apple Health, please complete the troubleshooting steps below:
Important note: Workouts logged while syncing was not working will NOT retroactively appear in Apple Health—only future workouts will sync after fixing the issue.
Step 1: Check Apple Health Permissions
- Open Hevy
Go to the Profile tab - Tap the Gear icon (top right)
- Select Apple Health > Connect
- Tap “Manage Permissions in Settings” and follow the prompts
Then double-check permissions directly in iPhone Settings:
- Open Settings
- Scroll down and select Health
- Tap Data Access & Devices
- Choose Hevy
Make sure all permissions are enabled
- If they were already on, turn them off and then turn them back on
Step 2: Confirm “Sync With” Is Enabled When Saving a Workout
- Finish a workout as normal and tap Finish
- On the Save Workout screen, under Sync With
- Make sure Apple Health is toggled ON
Step 3: If Sync Still Is Not Working
Try a full reset of the connection:
- Disconnect Hevy from Apple Health (in the Hevy app settings)
- Uninstall Hevy
- Reinstall Hevy
- Connect to Apple Health again and allow all permissions
