What is Strava?
Strava is a popular social media and activity-tracking app that uses GPS to help users record and analyze activities like walking, running, and cycling.
Strava Integration in the Hevy App
The Hevy app offers integration with Strava, allowing you to automatically share workouts logged in Hevy to your Strava account. When shared, Strava will display your workout data from Hevy, along with the muscle breakdown graph created in the app.
Important note: Only workouts from Hevy are shared to Strava. Workouts created in Strava cannot be imported into Hevy.
How to Connect Strava in the Hevy App: Settings > Integrations > Strava > Connect > Authorize
Troubleshooting
If your workouts aren’t appearing in Strava after enabling the integration, follow these steps to troubleshoot:
Step 1: Verify that permissions are correctly enabled.
Go to Settings > Integrations and make sure you see “Disconnect” next to Strava (this confirms the connection is active).
Step 2: Check your sync settings when saving a workout.
On the “Save Workout” screen, ensure that “Sync with Strava” is toggled on.
Step 3: If the issue persists, try resetting the integration:
- Disconnect Strava in the Hevy settings.
- Delete the Hevy app
- Reinstall the Hevy app.
- Reconnect Strava via Settings > Integrations > Strava > Connect.
