For some of the issues that come up with the Hevy app, the support team may request that you uninstall and then reinstall the Hevy app. We understand that this can be a scary request when you aren’t sure what will happen to your data.
Your information on Hevy is stored to your profile on our servers, not to your device, so when you uninstall and reinstall the app, all of your information will be safe and available once you are signed back into the app.
The only data ever stored to your device are workouts that are not saved yet and can be resumed still from within the app. If you have an active workout going when asked to uninstall and reinstall the app, make sure to save the workout first, as it will be lost and not be able to be recovered if the app is uninstalled before it is saved.
