Hevy is not just a workout logging app, it is also a place where you can share your workout and strength building journey with other athletes, allowing users to motivate each other and learn from one another. While the social media features in this app are enjoyed by many, we understand that some people would rather keep their information private or not participate in the social media aspect at all.
How do I make my account private?
- Go to the profile tab at the bottom of the app, and tap the gear icon at the top right-hand corner of the page. This will bring you to the settings page.
- Select ‘Privacy & Social’
- Toggle on ‘Private Profile’
A private profile will mean that other users will need to request to follow you in order for them to see your workouts.
How do I remove the social media features?
- Go to the profile tab at the bottom of the app, and tap the gear icon at the top right-hand corner of the page. This will bring you to the settings page.
- Select ‘Privacy & Social’
- Toggle on ‘Hide Suggested Users’
This will make it so users are not suggested for you to follow. If you do this and set your profile to private and do not accept any follow requests, this will remove all social media features from the app. Only your workouts will appear in the Home feed.
Important Note: The Discover feed will remain on the Home screen. As of right now, there is no way to remove this feature.
