Hevy allows you to export data from your profile so you can save a copy, review it in a spreadsheet, share it with a coach, or use it outside of the app.
You can export either your workout data or your measurement data.
How to export your data
To export your data from the Hevy app, follow these steps:
Profile > Settings > Export & Import Data > Export Data
From there, choose one of the following options:
- Export Workouts
- Export Measurements
Once the export is generated, you can save or share the file using the available options on your device.
What is included in a workout export?
The workout export contains information from your workout history.
This can be useful if you want to:
- Review your training history in a spreadsheet
- Share your workout information with a coach
- Keep a personal copy of your workout data
- Analyze your training outside of Hevy
What is included in a measurement export?
The measurement export contains the measurement data you have logged in Hevy.
This can be useful if you want to keep a separate record of your measurements or review your progress outside of the app.
Can I open the export in a spreadsheet?
Yes. Hevy exports data in a format that can be opened in spreadsheet programs such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or similar applications.
Depending on the program you use, you may need to import or open the file as a CSV.
Can I share my export with a coach?
Yes. You can export your workout data and send the file directly to your coach.
This can be helpful if your coach does not use Hevy or if they would like to review your training history outside of the app.
What should I do if my export does not work?
If you are unable to export your data, try closing and reopening the Hevy app and attempting the export again.

- Your Hevy username
- Which export you are trying to create
- A screenshot of any error message
- A short description of what happens when you try to export
