In Hevy you can import a direct export CSV from the Strong app. You can also export your Hevy profile to send to a coach or to input into a spreadsheet, etc. In this article, we will go over how to do both of these things in the app and common issues/questions that come up with the process.
Importing in Hevy
Hevy only allows you to import CSVs from the Strong app. The file must be in English in order to be accepted as an import. It is best practice to have the app translated to English before you export the CSV as opposed to trying to translate the file after the fact.
To import a CSV to Hevy, follow the steps below.
Profile > Settings > Export & Import Data > Import Data > Import Strong CSV > Select file
If the import does not work and the file is a direct export from Strong and in English, please reach out to hello@hevyapp.com for assistance from the support team.
If you want to import information to Hevy that is not from the Strong app, you can reach out to the support team at hello@hevyapp.com and we can provide you with a sample CSV in the Strong format, so you can attempt to make your information match the necessary format. However, if the CSV does not import, the support team will not be able to assist, as we only assist with issues with direct exports from Strong.
