The workout timer tracks the duration of your workout. While it continues to increase as long as the workout is in progress, you can pause the workout if you need to take a break or adjust the duration if necessary.
How to pause a workout
1. When in an active workout, tap the duration at the top left-hand corner
2. Tap ‘Pause Workout Timer’
3. Once you are ready to resume, tap the duration once again, then tap ‘Resume Workout Timer’
Important Note: The workout can only be paused from the phone app, not through the watch app.
How to adjust the duration of the workout
If you are on the ‘Save Workout’ screen:
1. After tapping ‘Finish’ at the top right-hand corner of the screen, the ‘Save Workout’ screen will appear
2. Select ‘Duration’ and a scroll list will appear
3. Scroll up to find the duration you desire
4. Once you have found the duration you want, click on the background of the ‘Save Workout’ screen to bring you out of the scroll list
5. Tap ‘Save’ to save the workout with the new duration
If the workout has already been saved:
1. Tap the completed workout that you would like to adjust the duration of
2. This will open the ‘Workout Detail’ page
3. Select the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the screen
4. Select ‘Edit Workout’
5. Select ‘Duration’ and a scroll list will appear
6. Scroll up to the desired duration
7. Tap on the background of the ‘Edit Workout’ page to bring you out of the scroll list
8. Tap ‘Save’ to save the updated workout with the new duration
Important Note: If you add a workout with a duration, but do not use the stopwatch feature and just manually add in the duration of that exercise, it will sometimes not update the duration of the total workout, and you will need to adjust the duration before saving to have this time included in the total duration.
