For now, there is no way to reset all of your data within Hevy. The support team at hello@hevyapp.com cannot reset account data for users. We do have a few workarounds that you can use.
Duplicate Exercises/Routines
If you’d like to start fresh with a specific exercise, you can duplicate it to create a new, custom exercise with no previous data attached. To do this, follow these instructions:
1. Tap on the Profile tab at the bottom of the app
2. Tap on ‘Exercises’
3. Tap on the exercise you want to start fresh on
4. Tap on the three dots in the top right corner
5. Tap ‘Duplicate Exercise’
6. You can set the name to something different to make it easier to keep track of it, such as adding (2025) to the end
If you’d like to begin tracking data in a specific routine fresh, you can duplicate the routine to create a fresh routine with all of the same exercises, but no data attached to it. To do this, follow these instructions:
1. Tap on the Workout tab at the bottom of the app
2. Tap on the three dots beside the workout you want to duplicate
3. Tap on ‘Duplicate Routine’
4. The create routine page will come up, but with the details from the original routine already added, you can set a new title, or keep the suggested title (the original title with (copy) at the end)
Deleting All Previous Workout History Manually
This option is time-consuming, but for users who feel they truly need to start fresh for all exercise and routines, this will get rid of all historical data.
To delete a workout, follow these instructions:
- Tap on the Profile tab at the bottom of the app
- Scroll down to where your workout history begins
- Tap on the 3 dots at the top right corner of every workout
- Select Delete Workout
- Confirm Deletion
Important Note: Once a workout is deleted, it cannot be recovered by our team.
